Generally you will be fine after they take them out. I had all four pulled together. I was able to get back to work later that day. Your mouth will be all numb, but you will be fine. Good luck and don't bite your tongue off.

I had three of mine pulled at the same time and I didn't have any pain afterwards. I immediately went back to my normal routine and only took some Advil. My husband had two pulled and the dentist told him to stay home for 5 days and gave him percocet for the pain. I am getting ready to have the last one pulled and I will make the appointment for a Friday so I can recover over the weekend.

Depends on how hard the surgery was. Mine was exceptionally bad and I was down for about a week because of the painkillers. Most people I know are back in two or three days though. I had the misfortune of being the exception.

Holy doodle mdgcats, what would you need for actual surgery or childbirth? Nobody needs 5 days off for getting their wisdom teeth out!
