We've already purchased the flooring, just need someone to come install it. Already did one room by myself and simply don't have the time to get the rest of the house done in a timely manner.

The price probably varies according to the area you are in. I would say an overall ball park figure would be $1.00 a square foot. You might want to be sure that whoever you get to install it knows what they are doing. It is very attractive when it is done right and crappy looking when it isn't.

The standard installation price for laminate is $2 per sq. ft.
That is what I charge in the Cincinnati Oh. area. Some places may charge a little more but you'll have a hard time finding it much cheaper. This price does not include the installation of 1/4 round or baseboard.

I've installed a couple laminate floors for people. I base the installation charge on how long it will take. The last room I did was a 14x14 dining room with 5 doorways, a chimney and 2 heat vents to work around. It took 2 full days. That was a $300 job for me.
