do you think alcohol consumption ages a person physically and ruins their skin (turns it red, wrinkles, blotchy, tired)? is it proven?

I'm a nurse with 25 years of experience. I've taken care of lots of alcoholics and heavy drinkers.
I have always wanted to film a movie of their last days in the Critical Care area of the hospital to show young people what they can face.
Some people can drink without it becoming a problem, many cannot. I say why take a chance?!
Alcohol does many more things to your body than just those few things you listed.
That's why I never drink it.

Yes, it does and it is a proven fact. Also, drug abuse does the same.
A few years ago, I went to my high school class reunion. I was shocked how aged some people looked. No surprise though, these had been the "pot heads" and "party animals" much of their lives. Those that looked best? The ones that ate right, limited alcohol, didn't do drugs, exercised and took care of themselves in many healthy ways.
Alcohol does a number on the liver especially, causing all sorts of health problems.

YES! I have seen it first hand it also does kill.I have known 2 people in my life that have died from scheleousus? of the liver. I'm only 26 & both these people were in thier early to late 40's.I'm also a cosmetologist & I see women &men's skin change all the time after they start drinking heavily. Yes to the proven question too.

Yes. The redness is broken capillaries (small blood vessels). Alcohol can damage the liver. You can read up on what the liver does.

yes and it is proven.. if you continue alcohol use at a large account you will look older the same way that smokers do

YES!! Mixed with smoking it is a cocktail for horrible skin and looking much older than your age. Not to mention the health issues involved as well.
