Why is he applying for it? If it's personal you don't have to tell me. I can't figure out how to start another answer so I edited it, sorry. My mom has MS and it took her over a year to get it. She had to prove to them that she had it. She still has to get evaluated to see if she still has MS. How stupid is that, she can barely walk now and has the progressive form. Anyway if there wasn't so many dang people screwing the system then it probably wouldn't be so bad. And his IQ shouldn't have a thing to do with it unless it's an emotional situation for his reason for filing and I really don't even think then it could/should effect there decision. There are many places that help people with this, some are even free and if you want them to they don't stop until you get it.

NO, SOCIAL SECURITY OFTEN TIMES WILL DENY SSDI BECAUSE OF INCOMPLETE RECORDS OR INSUFFICIENT INFORMATION.
AN ATTORNEY WHO SPECIALIZES IN DISABILITY SHOULD BE CONSULTED.
OR, THE STATE DOES NOT BELIEVE HE'S LEGITIMATELY DISABLED?
