Whats that show?

does anyone know the name of that show that was on animal planet about the people who lived in NY with their dogs?
And one guy had a lil pit and I think her name was Joey.
And someone else made a hat out of their dogs hair?
It aired years ago. If anyone knows what show im talking about, or thinks they know, what is the name of it?

ok, i found it. It was called "Dog Days".
can anyone find me more information on it though? Like why it got cancelled and how I can watch itand all that...
