I believe that in a sense we have an inborn knowledge of Jesus.. And what I mean by "in a sense" is this...
"In fact, says Paul, God has revealed himself plainly in the creation to all people and yet people reject even this basic knowledge of God. Also, all people have an inner sense of what God requires, but they choose not to live up to it. Put another way, people's moral standards are always better than their behavior. If people suppress God's truth in order to live their own way, the have no excuse. They know the truth, and they will have to endure the consequences of ignoring it. Why is God angry at sinful people? Because they have substituted the truth about him with a fantasy of their own imagination. They have stifled the truth God naturally reveals to all people in order to believe anything that supports their own self-centered lifestyles.."

We do not have inborn knowledge of Jesus. That why the great commission is to go and teach.
If one has never heard of Him or doesn't have mental capabilities to learn of Him, then God's grace will cover them. Jesus still will have sacrificed His life for them.
Those who have learned of Him and then reject Him have made a choice not to receive forgiveness and not to receive God's free gift of salvation.
The Bible is God's written Word to us.
It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Above all you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21. (New International Version)
Breakdown of the Bible
36 human authors inspired entirely by God over 1600 years.

It is not necessary to understand everything in the scriptures to be born-again.
You are right, we do not have an inborn knowledge of Jesus, and we can have a flawed understanding of the nature of God, His desire for a relationship with you, etc.
That is why we study and learn, and we fortunately have access to the first scrolls, and the Hebrew and Greek language.
Most of us do not have those scrolls in our posession, but we do have Bible software that not only has the scriptures, but allows you to look and see what the original Hebrew and Greek words were for any passage.

"socialization of the Bible"? I've no idea what you could mean by that phrase.
Answering your question, it depends on whom you ask. Most Christians will say that your standard-issue human has a dead spirit so he or she needs the Holy Spirit to enable her or him to hear Jesus' call. That said, Quakers believe that each person has "a spark of the divine" and can hear that if they listen (hence, their idea of prison instead of chopping off a hand, to give the criminal time alone to hear God.) Conversely, Calvinism says that we're all evil and lost and only God can save us and otherwise we'd all end up in hell because only a few are destined to heaven and the rest are destined to hell.
I personally disagree with both of those extremes. But read Romans 1 and realize that even the person who never even hears one word of Scripture has plenty of testimony that there is a God who cares about him and wants his fellowship in spite of his being a destructive and selfish person. "no fault of our own"? Uh uh. Our fault is ignoring the truth because it offends us.
We are saved by faith thru grace because faith is the one thing that ANY human can do. Even the Down's Syndrome kid who has trouble tying shoes is able to trust someone else. It really is just that simple.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world., But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name, Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but of God
Ye are the light of the world,... let your light shine so before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
John 16:13 The Spirit of Truth is come, he will guide you into all truths; for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, than he shall speak; and he will shew you things to come
As you can see we are born with the knowledge of Jesus Christ

no. Jesus is learned about, and believed in.
the Holy Spirit is there to help you, guide you, teach you. humans aren't even born knowing up from down, so how can we be born knowing good from evil?
Hell is like being separated from God eternally for not meeting criteria several times....and don't say you've never heard of the criteria...

The inner knowing of God/Jesus is called Gnostic. It was a popular religion, until Christianity came along and re-did the bible on what they wanted it to say.

God says that His Word is written on all of our hearts. If a person has never truly heard of Christ Jesus, the law written in their heart (Conscience) will be their judge. Did they choose to do good or evil.
God Bless You....Peace.

The only thing you have an inborn knowledge about is sin...,..it is common to all men.
It is easy to recognize according to Scripture....
Jesus is the solution for the guilt and condemnation of sin....

Jesus' disciples believed he became into the Messiah fairly than God, pronounced diverse cases by utilising Peter in Mark's gospel (that's the oldest checklist). It became into no longer till his trial while Jesus became into asked the question "Are you the son of the Blessed One (God)" to which Jesus replied "sure" while he became into seen extra because of the fact the son of God by utilising his disciples fairly than a prophet or the Messiah. additionally Jesus (curiously) rose from the ineffective, something that no different prophet can boast which places him above them. to no longer point out the consecration while Jesus appeared above Moses and Elijah signifying that he's not any longer a trifling prophet. i'm no longer easily a Christian, I in simple terms studied faith.
