Ive known this girl for about 4 years and we've been best friends for a long time and i want to try to ask her out. What should i say and how should approach her and how should i act.

If you don't ask her out, you will always wonder what if. If you call her on the phone, just come right out and ask her before you start chatting. Over the phone might be easier if you are shy.

ok well you need to be smooth and not be nervous
just ask her out and say if she does not want to further the relationship....tell her you want to stay really good friends whether or not she says yes.
if she says know, there is a good chance you will stay really good friends
if she doesn't talk to you anymore after you ask her out she is just not worth it

It may not be worth the risk. The risk being ending the friendship. I've done it before and it's ended in disaster.

well first u have to know whether she likes u that way or not. maybe u should ask if she ever thought about you like that.
