What are some good ideas for an outing with a potential girlfriend? I was thinking going bike riding with her if they weather permits.

Bike is good, How about the beach or a lake?Snorkeling, Hiking, going to a show, a party, Bowling, even staying iside and cooking her something can work out good. You Can goto a comedy club or a play. Bring her flowers on your second date. And remember, let her tell you how far she wants to go. Also after the first date try to introduce her to your good friends.

I am assuming by the riding bikes that you live somewhere where it isn't winter right now... by winter I mean snow and cold...
Some non-winter ideas:
-Mini-putt
-Driving range (it's silly, and silly is fun)
-Bowling
-Zoo's are fun if you have one near by
-Near where I live there is this ceramic place where you can decorate your own plate and they glaze it and bake it for you. Maybe you have one like that near you?
-I don't know where you live, but there must be some sort of local attraction like a bio-dome or a botanical garden. That could be amusing.
