I think this guy wants to ask me to prom, but the height difference is awkward, do you think this matters?

No, I've been 5'4 since high school. I went to the dance (actually a few) with guys who were usually over 6 feet. Have fun. Don't worry about it. It's actually nice. I always felt safe in a taller mans arms.... : ) *sigh*

No, it does not matter. There is abslutely no reason to give someone up as a potential prom candidate becauseof something that superficial. Trust me, I've been to 2 proms and this years my third, and people could care less about height on that night. It's all about what someones wearing and the excitement of being at prom and introducing your date to all your riends if you already haven't. And if you have, that's even more reason to let the height difference go.

seriously...height doesnt make a difference. It may look a little funny but people will get over it, and it will never hurt you to take a chance. Just think...what if the longest relationship or something went down the drain if you didnt go with him all because of a height difference

Nope, if he's a good guy and you like him, why not? My ex was 6'4" also, and very large, and I'm only 5'2". Go for it and have a great time!!!! Good Luck!

It doesn't.... There are too many things to consider for you to only be looking at height and there's nothing left to lose.

don't worry about it, my boyfriend is almost a foot taller than me and everything is ok. it's a BIT awkward when i want to kiss him because he's so tall... but it all works out. if this guy is cool you should definitely go with him!
