i have two pugs, 1male, 1 female, they both are inside dogs ( of course) and i have tried the crate training, they go out every night b 4 bed and in the morning, sure enough i get a suprise when i come into the kitchen-which is where they are at night- i am just about out of ideas and dont know what else to try, so besides the same answers on crate training and cleaning cartpets, there is no carpets, any other suggestions out there. These two dogs are very stubborn and if anybody knows of anything to help out please let me know! Thank you!:)

And just a little note for all of those people out there that just assume that i waited till just now to start training...wrong. Some people really should know the situations b 4 they just assume things. They know how to go outside, it is the part of the overnight and waking up to the mess in the morning that i am having a problem with. So only if you could possibly have some alternatives to the basics, rather than same old suggestions would be really appreciated.

Have you tried crate training her? Sometimes that helps with the issue at hand. Have you had your carpets cleaned lately? Dogs will go to the bathroom pretty much in the same place every time. This is because they go by scent, cleaning and deodorizing your carpet may help too. Also be alert to her schedule of when she may need to go out. She may be telling you but you may not have noticed. My Rat Terrier wants a lot of affection and will go from person to person until you say Out and then she bee lines for the door. She wont go to the door at all. I had the same problem about her going in the house. Sometimes just letting them outside for awhile in a fenced in yard helps a lot too.

I have a little pug and they are terrors to train - but have patients, they will get there soon enough - remember to have set meal, feed them say at 7pm at the lates, do not give anything after then, not even water, take the out several time before you go to bed and most importantly wake up extra early and let them out - i'm up at 6am every morning to let my girls out - otherwise they will leave me little surprises everywhere. Hang in there, they will get it.

first of all does it sleep inside?? if it does maybe you should put it in a kenel at night because a dog will not want to pee where it is sleeping. Second, when it is inside try to keep a very close eye on it, becasue if it goes and you don't catch it imediatly, and you scold it, he/she may be confused. If you do see her make sure you are stern and yell no and put her outside. Hope this helps

Step a million- Have him neutered. Step 2- Get a abdomen Band. it truly is a robust answer for those canines that do not end spraying inspite of being neutered... yet you should use it with unneutered canines, too. truly it truly is a fabric strap that velcros around the tummy and a sanitary pad is interior it to take up the urine. extra useful to sparkling a abdomen band than to have your canines marking the interior your position, eh? Get a number of them so that you've sparkling ones.

Put down those litte pads with some of their own urine on it. Eventually they will get it if you consistantly follow the basics in training dogs and they are halfway bright.

Thats kind of sad that you waited until they were a year old to train them. It is much easier to train them when they are younger . :(
