My friend’s daughter has a slight fever. Her mom thinks that putting whole lemons in the girl’s socks will reduce the fever. I’m looking for scientific evidence about why the does or does not work?

I know lemons can provide electric current. Just don't know how many lemons needed to give that mom a shock to jolt her to her senses.

Lemons in socks don't do much, unless you beat someone in the head with one...try cool water, childrens tylenol and going to the Dr...

yes...and waving a calves ear back and forth 3 times wards off evil spirits.
