You don't NEED a boyfriend.
There is a difference between need and want. A need is something you can't live without.
You need air, water, food, shelter. Without these things you would eventually die.
I'm 21 and I've never had a real boyfriend (I'm heterosexual, i.e. straight), and it hasn't affected my ability to live.
You are still really young. Just enjoy being single for a while. You can flirt and enjoy looking at good-looking guys while you are single. Try fantasising about the boys you like. That's always fun and a good boredom killer.
Eventually the right boy will come along. Just have patience.

once you're bored, why do not you bypass out for a interest or something? you do not want a boyfriend--i did not have one until i became 17 and that i met him because of the fact we the two did the comparable interest. it fairly is the wonderful thank you to fulfill human beings, is doing something that pastimes you and then assembly human beings becuase of that.
