Mederma. My sister used it for her scar and it is a lot lighter. It is $16 a tube and sold over the counter at most pharmacies. My sisters scar was like 5yrs old and about 6 inches long on her arm. It was a nasty purple color and now it is a light pink. You can still see it a little, but it is not nearly as bad..

There is a very masking type of make-up called:
CABOTS Corrective Cover Creme; it comes in various colours.
Also, I believe the Oprah Winfrey show featured some scar-cover treatments on a show a while back. They used some of the methods and products used by film star make-up specialists.
