My school has a color war type of thing between all the grades. Our grade is red, but unfortunately every store in town is out of face paint. I was wondering if anyone knew of something else that i could use that wouldn't smudge or run when ppl sweat as a substitute

use red lipstick or red tempra paint.

get some kind of a mask. face paint, lipstick, food coloring,etc will all stain your skin, and you will risk being red for days. OR get some spray in wash out red HAIR paint....that will give you a bit of a slant. how about red temporary tattoos? good luck

I'd suggest buying a big pot of white face paint and using food coloring to dye it red. But you'll have to use a lot of it.
Otherwise, you can red lipstick to draw warpaint streaks on cheeks and whatnot.
