Waxing won't thicken the hair. I get fine hairs sometimes too and every once in awhile I get it waxed. It's not a problem.

My dermatologist said Vaniqa does work to rid of facial hair. However, you must keep using it. If you stop using it then the hair returns. It is not gone forever. Waxing my face left the skin with little bumps all over like all the hair folicle openings were quite disturbed. Yuck. If the facial hair is white/very blonde another option is to shave but then it gets stubbly as it grows out so have to keep shaving. It does not make the hair grow in thicker or darker. I do believe laser would work. Get a second opinion on that. If your facial hair is dark then it could be hormones and you need to see your GYN or women's health dr.

. Only thing that will be permanent for hair removal is electrolysis. wax the hair from any area of the body it will make it softer and finer in a couple of years of doing it on a regulate base(once/mo).Laser hair removal works for darker hair a treatment every five weeks,it reduce the hair growth 70%-80% no down time or brake out after. After a series of ten visits it's needed a maintenance treatment of laser once every four mo . The cost is better if the treatments are bought in packages.

i dont know if vaniqa will work... but there are products to help bleach your facial hair... I believe its by sally hensen, you can buy it at wal-mart, walgreens etc. Another suggestion, if you dont want to wax or pluck try shaving a little spot thats not noticeble to see when your hair grows back out, will it be thick or not..

Look it up on Web MD, they usually are correct on there. You may be worrying too much. We all have hair on our face. Unless it's dark, thick or long and ugly, why are you worrying? It is normal.. But, if you must use a hormone go ahead and I hope it works, people are starving and we worry about a little facial hair...what is wrong with our priorities? It's not just you honey, it's all of us.

hi,
i get waxed myself... my eyesight isn't so good for me to tend to it. and then i use vaniqa, but it's only a hair growth inhibitor to be applied after hair removal. i can't say that it's helped me much.

I use Veet for sensitive skin to remove the little white hairs that I have on my face. Follow directs and you won't have any problems. Make certain it is for SENSITIVE skin. I have to do it about once a month.

if you wax, it will not get thicker, it helps to keep hair thin because you actually start do destroy the hair follicle the first time you do it, but be careful because skin can break out
