ok, recently i liked this guy who turned out to be a total jerk. long story short, i flirted too much with him and he thought i was a bit crazy. now, i'm changing schools (again) and i just met one of my soon-to-be classmates, who reminds me of the first guy- not the jerkiness part, but its something about his teasing sense of humor... and how he acts like he doesn't really care about me one way or the other. so my questions are, is it really just an act that the new guy doesnt care, and also, how do i change my flirting so it doesnt end up like the 1st guy, without totally not flirting so he thinks im not interested??

Well as for the guy...maybe that's just his nature to be like that without any mean intentions in mind...as for the flirting, just tone it down a bit a quick smile, a passing hello, twirl the hair...that right there should be more than enough.
