windows movie maker projects.......

thank you everyone! I figured out what was doing wrong, I still had it in project mode so I couldnt convert it to anything.

First of, the MSWMM format is not a format of video files, it's a Windows Movie Maker project. This means that it cannot be converted into other video formats directly. The project firstly has to be exported as a video file using Windows Movie Maker and then it can be converted into any video file type you want using either Windows Movie Maker or any other converter or video editing software you want. I hope my answer was clear.

In WMM go to File > Save Movie File

All you have to is right click on the file you want to change and then on the general tab you should be able to change the programe file and then when you click on change search Windows Movie Maker and then double click on it, you should be able to change the file.

save the movie and use other software converters to convert the wmv file to other file types, such as Total Video Converter.

I was successful uploading it on real player. Also Google video uploader works and it should allow you to see it on media player too. You can try the uploader. It's too big for AOL, so you could change the properties by right clicking the movie in my documents and changing it to google uploader

you open it up, then go to file and then export... whalla you can now change it to different formats..
