Hi Lilly,

I'll tell you right know it's hard just to admit to someone that you may want to self injure but I really would like you to make the decision to speak with a school counsellor about your feelings. If anything, it will be a chance to talk and tell someone how you have been feeling emotionally. I strongly suggest you tell the counsellor at the same time that this is NOT a suicide attempt.

I am a self cutter and if you don't get the help, your self injury behaviour starts to get out of control. Sweetie, you have a chance to stop this now before you do anything too drastic you take care and I hope you fine the help you need. Good Luck!

Sincerely,

Alice H.

I've never had a broken bone in my life, but I'm sure a hammer would be sufficient with the right amount of force. Or fall down the stairs and make sure you land on your wrist...but don't really.

I've been tempted to break bones or hit myself very severely before (I'm a self-injurer already so it's not too big of a step for me). But I wouldn't advise anyone do it. And a wrist would be a really nasty place to have broken bones, because that area is very delicate and complicated and it could be very difficult to put things back together if the fracture was too severe.

If methods of wrist-breaking were too hard to figure out, I probably wouldn't have said anything. But I don't think it's too hard to discover how to break bones in theory.
I don't have any room to be saying 'don't do it'. I just gave myself a huge burn a few days ago. I hope you're just curious though, self-injury really isn't that fun in the long run.

Just put your wrist in some ice. Or slap it hard with a rubber band. Doesn't leave any trace of self abuse.
