high antioxidants will take a lot of pains away
i had minor arthritis in my hands and knees.
i am taking an antioxidant supplement which has taken all of the pains away (not sure how severe your pains are, mine were not severe)

Zostrix works pretty good on mine. Over the counter, and about 12 bucks.
Be sure and wash your hands real good with soap after applying it, especially before going to the restroom.......ahem
