I would suggest buying in bulk, get a membership to one of the wholesale stores and stoxk up on big ticket items like your meats and water. Get vegetables and other goods from places like Wal-Mart Supercenter. This is what I have been doing for the pass month and a half. It has saved me well over $250.00. I am eating healthy and I never have to worry about running out of food.

Yes but you have to really have an appetite for it. I eat a LOT of brown rice, sometimes plain. And when I need something on it, I get vegetarian/fat free chili at Safeway for like a buck a can and slather that on and heat it up. Or Bushs baked veggie beans (no saturated fat)

And salads, lots of lettuce and tomato with no or low fat salad dressing. Boring, but healthy.

Stop buying processed food. It is more expensive than fresh. Shop only for a couple of days worth of food at a time to minimize spoilage. Don't eat out. Make your own fresh healthy food at home.

eat a good breakfast with lots of protein. for lunch eat a salad, and for dinner eat a piece of beef jerky. i'm not kiddin.
