I think premarital sex is wrong. It is emotional, and physical. I think it's wrong to have casual sex. It is against god's words. I have heard men sing of regret.

the way I see it. You guys live for the world, worldy things. Like sex. I guess many of you don't read the gospel. Any sex even a deep relationship before marriage is wrong. Sex isn't everything. in fact we should be strict enough to limit sex only to procreate, and do it against a wall with a hole in it.

I don't know why people have casual sex, i do agree with you there...but you actually can have a relationship that's mature and emotional and enjoy a physical relationship as well before marriage. I'm not saying it's right...but i'm saying it's possible. And you can also be married and not sleep with your husband. ;) I'm not saying it's right...but i'm saying it's possible. You want to make sure you've got a good bed-mate. But I do believe in God and if you really believe that God wants you to wait then you should. God knows best.

Not everyone who has premarital sex is doing it casually. Many are in very deep relationships and just happen to feel it's fine to do it before getting married. It's a sort of "don't buy the car without test driving it" type of thing.
As for casual sex, well... I guess people do it because they aren't quite morally secure and just don't care about the emotional aspect of sex. They like the physical bit, and choose to engage in it because it feels good. And, who knows? Maybe some people have casual sex because it's an illusion that they're being loved. It provides a window of time in which someone can pretend they've got someone who really, truly loves them.

okay, so let me get this straight...I'm 18 right now, what if I don't get married till I'm about 28, you want me to wait 10 years to have sex?? Screw that haha, casual sex is good and I do it because I want a night of fun, I don't want to be tied down. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just two people having fun and maybe getting caught up in the moment. Plus, you might be attracted to someone when you're out on a date, but once you get in the bedroom the attraction may fade. What if you get married only to find out there is no sexual chemistry. It's a way to see what turns you on and what doesn't in bed.

Wow, you sure think a lot... And the stick that's lodged firmly up your a** is clearly guiding your thinking. People have casual sex for the same reason they eat good food, drink good wine, and engage in hobbies. It's fun, stimulating, it broadens one's horizons and adds to the life's experiences. I don't know what god has to say about it, he's never taken the time to let me know, so I just have to figure it all out for myself. I'm glad god talks to you and explains his words, you must be a very lucky chosen man.
Funny, I think I overheard somewhere that it was also against god's words to be judgemental... But what do I know, I could be completely wrong! With your direct pipeline to god, you probably know better.

I'm just curious to know if you've had sex before. if you're married do you even enjoy sex, because if you'd even experienced good sex I don't think that you'd be telling us that sex should only be for procreation. I can't imagine only having sex when I want to get pregnant.

Some people just don't have high morals when it comes to sex. I think sex is right if you are doing it with someone that you love and have strong feelings for. I don't think it's wrong if your not married it's only wrong if you do it with anyone and everyone.

Well you can see your way,but I see it as life is too short,we are here today and gone tomorrow why waste that time waiting and some that wait never will know how great sex feels and good they can make their partner feel,also if you don't use it you may lose it.

really? i havn't heard too many men say that! but i believe sex can be either or.......or both......physical and emotional. emotional sex is truly amazing, but i don't regret having casual sex. it's a different thing to me.
