Run your anti-spyware in Safe Mode.If you have no an excellent anti-spyware or your current anti-spyware can't prevent spyware from Invading you computer,download a better one.

these are the best FREE software you can use. there are better ones out there but they cost money keep in mine some of these are trials but they are the best since it's non-pay

simply type this in google or yahoo or w/e search engine and download run/install and do a checkup.

adware se personal~(this gets rid of the main spyware problems)

spybot search and destroy~(agian like above but it tracks down the ones that have a problem with windows)

spyware doctor~(this gets rid of the spyware that most spyware programs cannot find and trojans ect. very useful program if you buy)

cleanup~ there is a program called cleanup type it in search engine. this simply CLEANS out all the website and stuff in recycle bin and can SAVE ALOT OF space. it's also quick too like 30 sec to complete think of it as a disk cleanup but even BETTER

zone alarm- the best firewall for free. easy to use and setup one of the best

AVG FREE- this is an antivirus that is very good and takes up less resource, meaning it won't slow down your computer like other resource hogs like norton.

that's about it, keep in mind, that when you download/install these remove any firewall or antivirus that you have and replace it with AVG or ZONEALARM. again, if you don't know how it's in

start>settings>control panel>add/remove programs> and remove the unnecessary firewall/antivirus or un-useful program.

this can only do so much for you computer. maby make it 10 percent faster. but if you still got problems i recommend you reinstall windows xp. gl
