We have many instincts. While still in the womb, we have the instinct to suck our thumb, which prepares us for the instinct to suckle from our mother's teet. Also,
-Learning to talk
-Find patterns in things we perceive
-Yawning
-Landing on our butt when we fall (especially as an infant)
-Putting things our mouth as a infant
...just to name a few.

Absolutely, BUT the mind and thought with humanity (unlike animals) trumps instinct. For instance, why do humans committ suicide when they clearly over the ages demonstrated a survival instinct. One guy even sawed off his arm after being trapped by a tree in the woods in order to survive! Yet loads of people kill themselves each year. Answer? Thought is more powerful than instinct.

Of course. Your instincts are all you have until you get to the age of 2 or so.

Yes thought our pituary gland is not as strong as it used to be, due to our new way of living and civilization is concerned. Buying meats prepacked, you do not even see the animal you buy and eat anymore, there is no respect. So that gland has gotten smaller in size, but if you use and and work on it, you can bring it back!

not really. we can't find water on our own, we don't migrate naturally, we have to be taught to do the simplest things....
really, humanity's intellect (relative, take it how you will) tends to balance out or lack of instinct.

Our physical compostions have an inherent nature to follow certain passions, yes. This is neither logical nor meaningful.
