Ok well my mom is an alcoholic and we have been taken from her home. I believe this has happened before. Right now they have a yr. placement thing 4 me and my sis w/ this foster care lady.. My sis is 16 my bro is 17 and i am 12. We are very easy to care for kids and we know how to cook and such. What are the chances I will move back home if my mom goes to AA meetings and does anything else they require?

The chances are very good,as long as your mother complies with everything she is suppose to,remember sweetie they took you for a reason, and even though you can cook and stuff you are still a child, but im sure you feel older,I know i was sorta once where you at,best of luck I hope everything works out for you and your mom.

very good. despite what people say the states primary goal is REUNIFICATION (getting u back with ur mom). it is costing them $$ to put u in foster care, they want u back with her just as much as u do. but they also want u to be safe thats why they come up with that list of stuff. so as long as she does everything when they tell her to, u should be back in a yr's time. no problem.
