Lately, I've been singing. And when I sing, I sing liud.
Now, whenever I try and sing certain notes, or parts, it's completely raspy and can't sing.
What's wrong? Is that voice gone forever? Or is it, just something that all singers get? When you sing too much and can't sing well anymore for a certain time...

Please let me know what this is! I'm so scared, I'm in tears ... I'm really scared and get worried very easily, so, is my regular voice going to come back to me?

PLEASE HELP!

You have simply overdone it for a while. You need to give your voice a rest. You wouldn't think of playing ( sport of your choice here) 24/7 would you? Without resting in between? Singing properly involves the whole body, and is like a minor sport. You need to be in good shape, you need to have a coach ( singing teacher), you need to know how to pace yourself. So please calm down a bit.
Since you are "only" 13, your body is still in the midst of your puberty growing phase. there are so many changes going on, including your voice.
We women don't experience the mind-blowing voice change that the guys do for the most part, but, our vocal tract ( voice box, muscles, ligaments, tendons, etc. in there) is growing, too.It needs TLC in order to grow happily and without damage, so give yourself time and patience ( I know, the last one is very hard to come by). right now, allow yourself a week without singing ( think of it as a business deal, if you give a week in advance, you might get years of productive singing out of it.) without speaking very much at all, and NO WHISPERING. that actually puts more strain on your voice than anything else.
If, after a week's rest, you still find yourself unable to sing quietly, gently, without discomfort, please seek out an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor. Often abbreviated ENT, sometimes they like to use their Latin title Otorhinolaryngologist, just to sound important. (Means ENT just the same)S/he can look at your vocal cords, using a funny little mirror and tell whether or not you have anything untoward going on.
Please take good care of yourself. the world needs people who sing.
Best wishes

You need to stop singing 24/7. You are only 13. Your voice does not mature until your 35-40. Can you strain your voice? Yes and it's sounds like what you're experiencing. You should ask your parents to make an appointment to see an ENT (ear nose and throat doctor), he/she can look at your vocal cords to see if you strained/inflamed the cords or see if you just pulled the small muscles surrounding your vocal cords. That's a good step to take for any singer. I usually get mine looked at at least once a year.
You need to put yourself on vocal rest and stop trying to sing, for now. Go a week without speaking, writing everything down. Drink a lot of water. I mean 10-15 glasses a day of at least 8 oz of room temperature water or warmer. The colder the water, the more your muscles will tense. You should go to the grocery store the the pharmacy and pick up a tea called Throat Coat. It's extremely helpful. You should not be using any throat lozenges that are medicated as they are drying to your cords. Pick up some slippery elm. You must rest your voice, see a doctor and then rest again. Please don't sing things that are too much for your young voice to handle. It might be fun now but it can cause permenant damage to your voice. Do the things I'm advising and you'll feel more relaxed about what's happening. PLEASE don't attempt to sing right now. Emotions, stress, hormone fluctuations, temperature....everything effects the singing voice.

I'm a singer and I've experience the same thing! It's very scary but fear not, help is at hand!

You say that you want your voice to return to it's norm, so maybe you have strained your voice. In this case, you need to rest your voice. Keeping on with the trying to sing when it may turn raspy will only strain your voice more and result in further damage.

You say that you sing loud (you wrote liud but I think thats what you meant) this may also be another reason as to why your voice is strained. Singing should not have to be loud, it is a skill which requires practice so perhaps you are not singing properly.

I'm sure once your voice has rested and recovered, you will easily be able to return to your normal voice. If you could do it at one point, it can't be lost forever. Hope this helps!

A breathy making a music voice generally skill that the vocal fold interior the throat are no longer coming mutually precise inflicting small quantities of air to return out as you sing. that may not a good element and it genuinely does not sound marvelous. a sturdy making a music voice on the different hand is extremely good, having a sturdy making a music voice sounds much greater advantageous than a breathy voice. You making a music instructor is extremely stunning nevertheless, it rather is fairly an phantasm.

Don't worry! I had/have the same problem...Well I sing and act and I'm in high school. When young singers sing using their throats it puts a strain on your vocal chords causing them to be sore. You can also hurt your vocal chords by trying to hit really high notes. If you hear yourself straining trying to reach high notes you shouldn't keep trying to strain your voice. If you want to learn how to sing without damaging your vocal chords or if you want your vocal range to be higher, I would suggest private voice lessons. I take private voice lessons and they have helped alot! You can find a voice teacher almost anywhere. Just ask your Choir Director at your school if he knows of any people who give voice lessons, or you can did what I did. I asked my Choir Director to be my Voice Teacher.

When I strained my voice it lasted for about 3-5 days...but it's different for different people. So don't worry about it too much.
