I am christian and i am going to pioneer bible camp this summer. I invited my friend last year who is lds but she didn't or couldn't go. She wanted me to go to her $200 mormon camp if she came to my $110 camp. My dad will not let me go to her camp this upcoming summer but i really want her to come to my camp. I think that it would be a really good opprutunity for her to come! How can i persuade her to come to my camp even thought i can't go to her camp.

Talk to her and pray about it. Give your problem to God, because He knows the solution.

Is it conceivable that you are both deluded but in marginally different ways?

GOD IS A MAD-MADE INVENTION.

Why are you wasting your life on such nonsense?

My guess is that you are 12 years old and have been indoctrinated into this life-choice by equally as deluded parents.

THINK FOR YOURSELF. ASK PERTINENT QUESTIONS.

Ask yourself whether you have the intelligence to open your mind to the distinct possibility that your god does not exist at all.
If you ARE open-minded, try reading the content of www.godisimaginary.com and be open to what is there.

Atheism is the only logical option for the free-thinking individual. The USA is a hotbed of religion and is unlike anywhere else in the civilised world. The bulk of Europe is atheist. Does that surprise you?

Reality beckons ...

To be honest, I have never heard of a Mormon camp that costs $200. And I went to the church for years. Maybe you should both forget about the church stuff and spend that money on something productive like an art, theatre, or music camp.

Well, I think you have already got the answer. Offer to pay her way to the camp. You could also promise you will not rat her out as a Mormon. Let her observe and see if she desires the change you so wish for her to realize.

It would be wise to follow the directions of your parents. However, if you show that you have enough strength of faith in Christ to go with your friend to her camp, in order for her to come to yours thenwhy not. But make sure that you use the right words in leading her to Christ, otherwise she may use it against Christianity. Make sure you keep on doing what is morally right and acceptable in the eyes of the Lord so that she may see the fruits of the spirit within you and turn towards God.

God Bless!

Pray about it...
It may not be what is in God's plan right now, but maybe you two could start doing Bible studies together and see what comes of that...
