Simply a gender difference and cultural influence!

But your statement is a general statement that does not apply to few talkative guys.

Generally speaking, guys' main interest is how things work (that's why they like toys a lot), whereas girls' main interest is how things relate to one another (that is why they are talkative about people and relationships). I recommend a book to you below.

Teenage boys don't really have a grip on how they feel - at least not younger 13, 14, 15 year olds. I have a 14 year old and he is a sensitive sort of kid, but not yet ready for anything serious. I just think girls are ahead of the game in that area. Give the boys time, they will come around!

Looks like you are discovering something about the opposite sex here...

Guys tend to be wired differently than gals. Gals like to "talk out" their frustrations to others while guys tend to internalize and come to a solution on their own. Gals tend to be very up-front about their feelings while guys are more subdued. Gals tend rely on their feelings, tend to be more "touchy-feely" while guys tend to rely on practical experience and be more impassionate.

Keep in mind that what I have related here about each is not a weakness of either or to imply that one is better than the other -- quite the opposite. God has made both in their own special way so that one can compliment the other.

Hope this helps!

Some guys are taught from a young age to avoid being vulnerable. This is mistakingly a sign of weakness for males. That said, often times some males find it difficult to show emotion to anyone for fear that he will be viewed as a punk.

boys (and this category includes men too) are not that good at sharing feelings...they are the doers and fixers not the anylizers and thinkers(about feelings anyway). they think that if they share that stuff it makes them less masculine, or a pu**y. sometimes, they just don't know how to express those things.

biys don't talk, many boys are brought up not to show emotions as it is soft or girly to do so, they are different to women anyway, and most just do not talk

Thanks for the warning , Shorty.

Guys your age haven't matured in that department yet. It'll take another ten years or so before they reach that point.

p.s. You can call them immature.

why can't girls tell us guys their true feelings?
ever thought of that?
it's a two way street here

woman demanded to vote, demanded equal oppintunity and equal wage as men
so why can't you tell us?
