We know from the Bible that not all bad things that happen to a person are a result of sin (there are many examples). Cancer, if I understand correctly, may be part of a person's genetic makeup. Yet, cancer is on the rise. I've been listening to some MD's on the matter and they say there is a link to diet. Our food is contaminated by hormones, pesticides, GMOs, etc. These contaminants may be what triggers cancer in a person's body. Aside from altered food states, people don't always make the best choices when selecting what to eat. Processed foods are terrible for you. This world is a place where everybody suffers in one way or another. God is there to see us through it, He's with us so that we don't have to face such things alone. Contaminants in our food are a result of corporate greed. The end consumer is the one who pays for their sin.
Something I'm not to clear on---HPV. HPV is a sexually transmitted disease that causes ovarian cancer. I remember watching a doctor on T.V. almost a decade ago who said that women with multiple partners were at a higher risk for ovarian cancer. Well, you can imagine how well received that comment was. Guess he was right.
Cancer patients deserve all of our respect and prayers. I hope that if anyone is suffering they can place their faith in Christ and not go it alone. Who knows, maybe the Lord will grant you healing, if you ask Him too.

Disease is judgement for sin. One disease, which we all have, is death, and the only cure is life, which can only be found in God, the one who gave us life in the first place.
We all live in a world full of sin. The truth is, we all deserve judgement, for we all sin. Some people sin straight-out, directly and could be said to directly deserve a punishment, but with others, it is more indirect, for instance, they could be more or less "innocent" of a punishment which is related to a specific sin.
In such cases, it makes it harder for us to understand, especially when someone catches AIDS or gets cancer and it appears that they are either innocent, or a righteous person. This is when we get into the discussion of "why does bad things happen to good people?" There is a good answer to that question, but it is another question which I suggest that you ask if you want to.

How do you know whether AIDs is God's judgement or not, it could just be your view on things...
But even if it was, cancer could be the fact that some poeple are not following his commands or maybe its a trial that God will help you go through the trial and overcome.

Do not blame God about the AIDS you have acquired b ut blame your self. The infliction of AIDS virus is a result of your own doings. You were tempted by Satan to do ungodly things, then you allowed yourself on the temptation. It is of the same case of cancer and all other sickness,God loves you and he do not want that you will be inflicted of any disease. Judgment will come soon. Do not worry you will be judged from your own doings.

First of all God is not punishing anyone by giving them AIDS if they have sex outside of marriage. Aids was started in Africa and has found its way to America and other countrys. It is not just the Guilty who catch Aids. Unfortunately alot of children are born with it, Passed down from their parents. People have been committing Adultery since the beginning of time and Aids was not even around at that time..

in the old testament the majority of people believed that god was the reason for all actions and thus any ailment etc was considered punishment from god.........even if someone with no reason for being sick became ill the illness or misfortune was thought to be punishment from the sins of an ancestor or other relative, the book of job challenges this rationale. you may also notice that when the apostles asked jesus "who sinned that this man be afflicted(the blind man),was it him or his parents...." to which jesus replied "it was neither him or his parents...." and so the new testament reveals that sickness is not a punishment or a judgement from god.

Aids is not God's judgment but a consequence of sin just like cancer. We do not eat healthy nor do we take care of our environment so we are subject to the diseases we get. We make the choice and we've been making these choices since the fall of man.

Gods judgment has not come to earth yet. Aids and cancer are man made as are all germs and virus.Man has condemned him self .
When Gods judgment comes the whole world will know it.And that day will come.<><

Its punishment for standing too close to the microwave or becoming one of those annoying people that drive while talking on their cell phones. Cancer is part of life and I hope none of us have to deal with it like I have.
