It's very prevalent. There're books on the topic to be found in the "New Age" section of your better bookstores such as Barnes & Noble. You'll want to establish your own healing ritual, and basically, it's what appeals to you and what you can learn through your reading. Don't read just one or two books on the topic - the more you read, the more insight you'll attain.
NOTE: be VERY careful of herbs - there are healing herbs, but unless one is VERY well trained, they can be exceptionally dangerous! The wrong part of a healing herb can kill you if you unknowingly ingest it. DO NOT depend on what you read to teach you what you need to know regarding herbs - it's all too easy to misunderstand what you're reading. Ask a skilled professional, or better still, just leave the exotic herbs alone!

Quite common. The Wiccans I've known used Healing Rites as part of nearly all their rituals.

it's fairly common. For better responses you should post this on some of the Wiccan sites, not here where every self-righteous bigoted Christian is going to slam you.
