I am a sophmore in high school that is in Spanish 4 by basically doing nothing. I am not even a native speaker. My teacher speaks in all Spanish and I understand 5% of what she is saying. I am so frustrated that I don't know any of these words of concepts. I am so far behind there is no way that I can catch up. I do have a B in the class, but it is dropping rapidly. Can anyone help? This is a cry for help. PLEASE.

You need to talk with your Spanish teacher or counsellor and tell them that the class is too advanced for you. That way perhaps you can be made to repeat the previous year, or choose a different subject.

There's not much anyone can do, try to get textbooks from the previous years of Spanish you've taken to review them, learn the different tenses, and vocabulary so you can write better. That's what I do when I want to review things from the previous year that I might have forgotten about (however I do pay attention all the time in class). By now, it's nearly impossible to catch up on all you've missed, because language is something that takes a while to learn, it's acquired.. it comes with time.
