wow thats a great question!
the God you are refering to i believe is God the father God the son and God the holy spirt the God of the christian faith.
Christanity is not a religion but a relationship w.God so therefore we are not a quote religion but i guess its classified that way the reason there is so much hate in religion is people fail to communicate they argue and try to prove there own point when the answer is right infront of them yes we all have our difference but somtimes u have to think a little bit and listen to others poits of view before you just go and bash there beliefs
i relaly really like that question!

I think that man is basically sinful and with that sin brings jealousy, self-centeredness, self-righteousness, and ignorance. Most hate is based on ignorance. But, because our world is so flawed, we will never see anything without a sinful cast on it. Religious hate is powerful because sin is powerful. We won't know the pureness of God's love until we come face to face with Him.

That is why I have a personal, spiritual relationship with God. It knows no hate such as that which exists in the world of religion.

God is Love. Not all religious people are following God. There are false religions and man-made doctrines that we should reveal and avoid.
May God Bless you.

I'm going to tell you there's a divine spark that man gets hold of, kills and then sets up a memorial to the spark that once existed. This memorial is called "religion;" it's divisive. People wrap their identity and sense of self around it, so when anyone or any thing is perceived as opposing or threatening one's religion in any way, they are also seen as a threat to the religious person's self. Thus, the hatred, as you call it.

Using hate to spread a message of love. It's the strangest phenomenon.

I'm what you would call "religious" and I'm not hateful in the least. Stop stereotyping.
That said, perhaps the reason that you feel that way is because PEOPLE are hateful. It isn't the fault of any religion.

you said it, "religious" not God, don't blame God for what religion does, God did NOT invent religion, people did and people are very evil.
Its like asking, why do smart people ask dumb questions, they don't, but to those who don't understand, everything seems foolish.
