I'm a Unitarian Universalist...

we don't think we have all the answers, and leave an opening for doubt and rational thinking that makes us without a creed or doctrine everyone MUST believe.............doubt is a good thing!

the Universe is 17 billion years old so as humans we're still figuring out who we are......and how we got here... we're the babes in the woods............

there have been a number of holy men of all races and cultures and faiths, and a number of not so holy women, and Eve may or may not have been the mother of us all................

Bibilonians are more attached to a book which was written over a number of years by a number of people than the rest of us..who view Christianity as a part of the flavor of the religious rainbow.........

Nothing begets nothing. (non existence)

Something begets something. (cause and effect)

Everything begets everything. (creation and evolution)

Difference is plurality. (distinction and definition)

Sameness is oneness. (Everything, defined, limited, is of the limitless Oneness)

Plurality is not self-substantiating due to differences.

Oneness is self-substantiating due to Sameness.

Therefore God is, guidance to oneness (source of truth) is available, guidance is affirmed with knowledge, knowledge envelops grandeur and begets love, love removes distinction, Oneness is consummately self-substantiated.

Therefore things such as "Knowledge is a single point, but the ignorant have multiplied it." and "The highest truth is there is only God." have been uttered by the Prophets, the very Spirit of Christ, which is the Union of the differences to the One, Incomparable.

Differences are entirely ephemeral apparitions, accidents, by-products, creation (from the original, not modern definition), of the All-Encompassing, Divine Truth; as utter nothingness by comparison, and are thus described as "shadows" "images" etc.

Proof enough, of the One God, is even the militant atheist, so nothing but love for this Proof, can exist for the true believer.

"We desire but the good of the world and the happiness of the nations; yet they deem Us a stirrer up of strife and sedition worthy of bondage and banishment.... That all nations should become one in faith and all men as brothers; that the bonds of affection and unity between the sons of men should be strengthened; that diversity of religion should cease, and differences of race be annulled -- what harm is there in this?... Yet so it shall be; these fruitless strifes, these ruinous wars shall pass away, and the 'Most Great Peace' shall come.... Yet do We see your kings and rulers lavishing their treasures more freely on means for the destruction of the human race than on that which would conduce to the happiness of mankind.... These strifes and this bloodshed and discord must cease, and all men be as one kindred and one family.... Let not a man glory in this, that he loves his country; let him rather glory in this, that he loves his kind...." -(Baha'u'llah [Glory of God], The Proclamation of Baha'u'llah)

"Is not this that which Christ foretold?" -(Abdu'l-Baha [Servant of Glory], Divine Philosophy, p. 10)

That all religions AND science are all different routes for reaching the same goal (or climbing the same mountain peak). Each of these routes seem totally different. And some are adamant that THEIR route is the right route.
