I buy mine through a company called Deklin (www.delkin.com). Being a dealer, I get fairly good prices. Even if I wasn't they offer great pricing and a great guarentee on their products.

Hello! I would recommend Maxell's brand of CDR's for archiving. By the way, you should burn an ORIGINAL copy and then a BACKUP... so should one can't be found is otherwise not functioning you'll be backed up. Walmart is a good place to get them, but you could try like Target or Staples. Also should you do any photo editing of images, you should do a "SAVE AS" so you'll have your original untouched and then your "second version" as it were. JPEG is a good compression but it does not lessened with usage. Good luck.
