In English, the riddle is: You only have 2 coins to make .30 cents. One of the coins is not a nickel. What are the 2 coins.
In English, the answer is - a quarter and a nickle (ONE of the coins is not a nickel.

no I think you're thinking of something else, the riddle goes, you have two coins and together they equal 30 cents. one of the coins is not a nickel. what are the two coins? the answer is the one that is not a nickel is a quarter, and the other one is.
Or 'u' is a variable, and that means you can use as many coins as you want, then the answer(s) are: 30 pennies; 20 pennies, one dime; 10 pennies, two dimes

Easy. We don't use nickles in Australia anyway so I can use a 10 cent piece and a twenty cent piece. 10 + 20 = 30
