so i will give more details:
i like him and told him that i did. then it got really awkward for the longest time. (he liked one of my friends at the time) i told her what i had told him and she began flirting w/ him whenever i was around. now he tells me that he doesnt like her anymore and i believe him about 70%. i have also convinced him(i think) that i like someone else. one of his friends, but he isnt jealous cuz he doesnt like me the way i like him. problem is now i am not sure if i REALLY do like his friend or not...
anyway im trying to get back to where we were; as friends. i realize now that his friendship if far more important to me than anything. and i would rather lie to him (about me liking his buddy) and be friends with him than ever face the awkwardness i have experienced over him.
if u have any advice about how 2 get back to where we were or any comments from experience; anything i should have done differently?
thanx! this will be a big help to me

Look, you made a mistake, we all do. Yes, it was an awkward situation, but whats done is done. Personally, If you and this guy were GOOD friends, your relationship should be able to withstand an awkward or embarrassing situation. If your guy friend does not show any signs, of wanting to continue, or re-establish your prior friendship, then it is possible, the friendship was not that solid, and Let your guy friend move on. A true friendship goes through many phases, After all is said and done, The people who support you through the bad stuff, and remain by your side, THEY ARE TRUE FRIENDS. As for your girlfriend and the other guy, I think I Would let those relationships fizzle out.

it sort of sounds such as you 2 like one yet another lots! you may play a query recreation (make it a private one and make it seem such as you're asking out of interest no longer on account which you certainly need to comprehend.) ask him the question after some heat up questions. Ask him if he has ever liked you greater desirable than a buddy. And whilst it is your turn back ask whilst.

i think that its fine that u told him u liked him. and to gett out of that acward mode, just start talking to him likle u used to, and he'll get the idea that u just want to be frineds. or u can ask him if he wangts to go with a bunch of friends, to like a movie, or somewhere...just as friends of course.
and bring along his friend (the one u said that u liked) too

You can't. You might be able to get close to it with time, but you can't.
