St. Paul writing under the inspiration of God, meaning that God spoke through him wrote in Romans 1:18-20 -

"The wrath of God is indeed being revealed from heaven against every impiety and wickedness of those who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
For what can be known about God is evident to them, because God made it evident to them.
Ever since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes of eternal power and divinity have been able to be understood and perceived in what he has made. As a result, they have no excuse."

The creation speaks for the creator. God's proof is in nature and God can be proven by reason alone.
Atheists and every person deep down in their hearts know God exists.
You atheists supress the knowledge and existince of God so you can continue in your sins, evil, and lifestyle.
How many agree with the truth?

You will believe in God when you see him for judgement and spend eternity in hell. I have given you warning. Do you feel lucky? Every minute you are closer to death or "nothingness".

Everyone knows God's existence. You murder your conscience and supress to deny the undeniable. You create delusion.

We are all responsible for our behaviors. People wouldn't get AIDS if they didn't have sex outside of marriage. People are killing themselves because of lust.

existence does not end after death. Hell does not make you warm and fuzzy because the truth is serious. You are in eternal danger.

Of coarse we are born without knowledge of God, but the knowledge comes from living in the world. There is point in time when kids can understand about creation.

You can find out about God's existince through reason alone. Reason comprehends a creator, but you need faith for the complex issues of the trinity, Jesus, and a personal, loving, God.

Oh no, not the wrath of God.

Wait... that's just a book talking about a fictional character. Phew! No need to get worried.

Telling me that I "deep down in my heart" know that God exists is like telling you that, deep down in your heart, you know Tinker Bell really exists.

Doesn't mean much to you, does it? Even kind of laughable, huh?

Yeah... I agree.

*edit* Oooo, a bit of "you're all going to get what you deserve, stupid-heads" in the details, eh? Nice. There's nothing like a dash of smug righteousness piled onto a mountain of unjustified moral superiority.

*edit* "People wouldn't get AIDS if they didn't have sex outside of marriage." I think this is quite possibly one of the most ignorant things I've ever seen in my life.

First of all, the way that God has acted in the Bible vs. how the devil acted, hell sounds like a better place. In addition, I would hedge my bet that the devil will not do God's bidding and punish anyone.
In addition, please note that your quote stated that God's wrath will be put against those who suppress the truth. Have you ever wondered what is in the vaults of the Vatican? So many have in the past and so much truth has been suppressed and truth not allowed to be sought by religious leaders.
If God can be proven by reason alone (as you have stated), then why are Christians always talking that you must have faith that God is there? You state that through reason alone God can be proven.
My evil lifestyle is kinder and more gentle to ALL creatures on the planet, than most Christians. You have made a huge assumption, but that is par for the course with Christians. You can take your God and your Bible and shove it. If you are not sure where, just ensure that it is painful when you sit down. However, still love to see you prove God.

There are occasions when the uninformed rantings of the deluded demand pity. This is one of them.

Voices in the head. Mark Chapman, a Born-Again Christian, heard voices in his head and he then proceeded to murder John Lennon. Those voices were nothing more than his own thoughts. I heard voices a few minutes ago. The voices said "Go make coffee!". They were my own thoughts and NOT a message from the sky-pixie. Let us not delude ourselves beyond that which is real.
Your man Paul suffered the same kind of delusion. He supposedly had voices in his head. They were nothing more than his own imagination. Cope with that.

What is so difficult to understand about the fact that ALL gods are man-made. Invented for a number of reasons. Invented a long time ago, when no-one had a fraction of the education we have now but yet indoctrinated children grow up to spread this myth and generation after generation of the misguided perpetuate it as if it were totally true and relevant today ... IT ISN'T.

The reality is that all gods, then and now are false. They do not exist anywhere other than in the minds of the simple sheep, who fail to apply logic and reason, who fail to ask the right questions about the likelihood of there actually being an invisible and silent and totally ineffective 'being' somewhere out there ... that also needs worshipping!!!

Bunkum. Rubbish. Garbage.
Get real?

You have made a whole bunch of assumptions about the rest of humanity and have failed to get much at all correct. You are evidently living in a fantasy-land. Much like Disney-land, all you see is fake but, as with a young child, Mickey Mouse is REAL ... Why can't you understand that?

According to the new testament, John 8, men are "convicted" by their own consciences.
The 'version' of the new testament that you quote from has nonsense in it.
For one thing, every bible printed prior to 1800 said that wicked people 'hold the truth in unrighteousness.' It never spoke of suppressing it, because if God 'hath revealed it unto them,'
there's no way to suppress any thing that's been out in the open.
The 'version' you quote from makes no sense.
Every bible printed before 1800 had in Romans 1, saying, His eternal power and GODHEAD, which is The Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost.

I have a good friend who is an atheist.
If the new testament is true, then God shall judge every man according as his work shall be.
In the epistle to the Romans, it states that there are people who 'have not the law,' who have the work of God's law written in their hearts, and 'do by nature those things contained in the law.' I also know these words to be true of a few agnostics.

The world generally does not know God to begin with.
No body has a relationship with God, because he has absolute power. I must approach him from dependence. Realistically.

When men convicted by their conscience walked away, Jesus spoke to another person, saying, Neither do I condemn thee; go and sin no more.

All people are born without any knowledge of god, so that right there disproves your contention that atheists "know about god deep down." If we were born with knowledge of god, we wouldn't need to learn it from our parents nor would there be different religions.

As far as this whole "sins, evil, and lifestyle" thing, maybe you should meet a few atheists and see if that's what we're really like rather than just painting us with that brush. You might be surprised. Atheists, much as any other group, come in all sorts of different stripes. However, I do find that atheists are more moral than theists, if only because we don't act good towards others for a gold star from some other being. We do it because we like to see other people happy.

Reason and Logic tell us that there is no god. The "proof" you speak of in nature is not proof, it only appears to be complex and the proof you seek because you do not understand the complexity of nature. Your views on Nature and the universe are from a prospective that god does indeed exists. But it is you who are suppressing the knowledge and the truth of our existance, an existance revealed by science. You are just wishful, that a god does exist. Good luck in your search.

Sorry, but I'm not buying the rantings of someone who was hearing voices. (Yes, I'm talking about Paul.)

And the accusation that we "suppress the knowledge and existence of God so you can continue in your sins, evil, and lifestyle." is an ignorant, dismissive statement designed to attack a person on a personal level because you have nothing more intelligent to say. There is no basis in fact in that statement at all, because you know nothing at all about our "lifestyles". Atheists don't even get offended by that drivel anymore, because we hear it all the time, and it simply makes the person saying it appear to be stupid.
And the statement that we all "know God exists" is also an ignorant statement. No, we don't all know that God exists any more than you secretly know that Zeus exists.

In fact, there's so MUCH ignorance in your entire non-question that I can't believe I'm even wasting my time answering this. You go ahead and wallow in your ignorance since you enjoy it so much and have no intention of educating yourself.

And that unbelievably stupid statement about not getting AIDS if you didn't have sex outside of marriage...there are BABIES out there with AIDS, and I don't know a single one of them that got it having sex outside of marriage. If God designed AIDS as a punishment to the "wicked", then why would he give it to babies? You are such a pathetic loser.

Fishers of men must profess what will bait men with the sweet odors of love, and infinite kindness,, not spur them to gnash the fisherman in their teeth.

You must detach yourself from pride, and this is very hard for any, but without it all success will be of God alone, and nothing you do can aid even yourself, and God is not in need of any helper.

"No man cometh to Me, but the Father has Given them to me." -Jesus

You can do no better than that, so be worthy of the trust of God if you can, be patient if you can't.

"How can you be trusted with great things until you are trustworthy in small things?" -Jesus

This is but a test, for God has all-power, making those that can hear, and those who are spiritually deaf. If even stones can be made to profess, then worry not whether men do, except to be kind to them. If mankind was not of what deserves kindness no-one could become upset for not being treated kindly; their very ability to be upset at its lack is proof of God's offering it to them, whether you do or not.

Do you really think quoting the Bible has any credibility with atheists? It's a book written by humans thousands of years ago who didn't have any conception of a scientific method of discovering truth and who equated "visions" with reality!

And as for insulting atheists with a broad brush, that only proves you're an ignorant, hateful bigot!

No, there is no proof of God in Nature. There is proof of NATURE in nature. Your arrogant assumption that every person deep down in their hearts know(s) God exists is simply an unsupported statement that does not even make biological sense, much less philosophical sense.

You Christians (including Paul) make up stuff and call it "knowledge." And Christianity is far from changing behavior away from any harmful lifestyles. It promotes harm more than it prevents it. (How dare Christians prevent sex education and condom distribution in AIDS-ridden Africa!)

Ah, being told I'm going to spend eternity in Hell makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

It's nice to know you're such an open-minded and accepting person, and not, say, someone who tells people they will suffer for eternity just for believing something different than them...
