For the last week my ears have been popping almost everytime I yawn. I haven't noticed any symptoms of an ear infection or anything. I've never had any problems with my ears before this.

The popping sound you hear is the eustachian tube in the middle ear space opening and closing to equalize pressure differences. This occurs naturally and is nothing to be concerned with. Typically excessive popping occurs when the tube's mucosal lining is thicker than normal due to sinus problems, allergies etc.

If you are at a higher elevation than normal, your ears may not have adjusted to the pressure.

It's equalizing the pressure...You might have a stuffy nose or a cold also.....It's quite normal....Don't worry.
