there's this guy i went on one date with. before we went out, he had been distant all along but still said he wanted to hang out with me. (also, we met at a party and made out late that night.) ...So after our one and only date, he says we should just be friends because he's really busy with school and work and doesn't want to play with my emotions. Does it sounds like he doesn't want to see a girl period or like it really wasn't into me?

It's been my experience that guys who make out with girls the night they meet are often out for one thing. You wanted to go on a date, and he wanted to go into the backseat.

That makes him a player and you're better off without someone who would treat you like a trick. Who cares why he decided to 'just be friends'? Let's just be glad that he's gone.

First, u shouldn't have made out with him the nite u met him; wrong signal, guys tend to think when a girl does that, she's "easy". 2nd, if he 's going to school & working, he's probably just too busy, & too worn out to date anybody. 3rd, he just wasn't "into"u, & this is his way of letting u down easy. Whatever, u still want to be nice to him, speak when u see him, ask about his job, etc., etc., & maybe, 1 of these days, when he has time, he'll ask u out again. It could be that he doesn't want to get into a relationship just now. Play it cool, see what happens.

You should trust him and have patience. He says he doesn't want to play with your emotions because he is busy and all. That can be the truth and I think it is. Nothing is your fault and I know you like him or else you wouldn't have asked. You see him everyday or almost everyday. Charm him. Act like what he said didn't bother you. Be his friend, but make him see that he wants you more tan a friend. Always smile hen you're around him and give him hugs, but no kisses. Leave him wanting more. If you're not into that, tell him how you feel and see. Anyway you choose, good luck.

You met him at a party and then proceeded to make out with him? He probably doesn't think much of you for that, you're too easy. He's got what he wanted from you and he's done with you now. Learn from this and behave yourself.

No It was not Your Fault. He was just being a man about it. And not ready. Read your Question and you will see the answer to your own Question.

Never care about a man you have dated only one time. If he really cares for you, as a man, he'll know what to do.

He's just not that into you, but it's nice he was honest about it. That's fair. No one is at fault- certainly not you-- sometimes people just don't click.

Sounds like he is just not into you. I wouldn't worry about it. You'll find someone who is!
