Some are hypocrites, they know the word and profess it with their mouths but they dont take it to heart and dont do it.

Some are along for the ride because of family or percieved power they can have.

Some of them think they own it and can rewrite it into their own image of what faith in God should be.

Some have accepted a false Gospel and reteach it.

Lots of reasons, I believe that is why Jesus said that the road to Heaven was narrow and few would travel it.

If a Christian does not make it into heaven, it is because he or she was not a true Christian. The term is thrown around loosely these days but a Christian is a person who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ, accepting his death and resurrection and the eternal life that he offers. If one does not believe in Christ and accept Christ's payment on the cross for the sin of the person and the world, that is why they will not go to heaven.

Well all true Christians will make it to Heaven, but people who claim to be and aren't won't. Hope that answers your question, you weren't very specific.

If you have truly received the Lord Jesus Christ in your heart (That is by accepting that you have sinned, and repenting from them and by believing that HE came down from heaven to pay for your sins so that you could have eternal life) then you will go to heaven. Everybody else will not. (The Bible, Book of Romans)

because Christians is a non-believer's term.

the world's view of "Christian" is basically anyone who has Christ as a part of their religion or beliefs, however, not all who call "Abba, Father!" will be saved. Jesus gave instructions on how to be born again, just people refuse to follow them.

It's really nothing to do with religion, it's to do with who they really are, what's in their heart, only God knows.
