Robitussin AC???

I keep hearing rumors robitussin ac is sold over the counter. I have a terrible cough and this perscription has worked for me in the past. But I have been hearing that people can just go to their pharmacist and ask for it over the counter. Is this true? It seems a bit far fetched to me.

in some states you can, but most require a prescription.

It is not a federal requirement........just a state one.
