Smart parts ion ?

Question

I have a smart parts ion paintball gun and i had two questions.

1.The ion can shoot 17 bps in semi mode but that is only if your hopper can feed that much. if you get a regular hopper, no electronics, just a regular hopper where the ball fall on their own will it shoot 1 ball per second, and is that good for the gun.

2. I dont fully understand this electric hopper thing, i know that you turn on your hopper and then you turn on your gun but as soon as you turn on your hopper does it automatically start trying to shove balles down the feeder if the gun isn't even on.

It will feed more like 3 bps, but why get an electronic gun to do that? =)

And an electronic loader has several types. Some are force-fed and some use "eyes" to tell if there's a ball being fed to the gun. If you get a cheaper (agitated) loader, they basically spin and spin, just moving the balls to where they will fall in line. The most groundbreaking loader (stock parts) is the DXS Pulse with R/F, which uses a blue-tooth esque technology to tell the loader when the gun shoots, to feed a ball every time. Hope that helped!

You need an electronic hopper if you want it to shoot fast. About the other ? there are some hoppers that have a sensor & once you start shooting the paintballs start moving, once you stop the hopper will stop feeding the paintballs to your gun its just up to you how much you want to pay for it. I recommend a Halo.

since you have the ion you should get a good hopper. you should look at halo's. they can feed 22 bps and they will be good for you. also it will not keep spinning if you are not shoting becasue it has eyes and knows when to stop loading. in a halo the is a disk which catchs paintballs and puts them into your feed neck. yah but i have a halo and a ion and i also have the rampage board and i upgrade my halo to about 34 bps and my ion shots about 32 bps with that board . yah just get a halo. it has a fast bps and is very good

1)A electronic Hopper is a must!!!!!
It will be terrible if you dont,

2)It moves the balls around the whole time and keeps them going down and it doesnt shove and force them down. They just fall down
