Frequently we do not know why an eyelid twitches (called myokymia.) However, some things that can cause it are caffeine, nicotine, stress, sleep deprivation, or irritation of the eye.
So, try to cut back or stop caffeine and nicotine. Do your best to get a good night's rest if your not, and try to relax some if you're stressed. For irritation of the eye, your want to identifity and remove and causitive factor (ie overwearing contact lenses.) Use artificial tears, like Systane or Genteal, 4-6 times per day.
A cool compress can also help reduce the muscle twitching if the other changes you make don't help.

Isn't eyelid twitching caused by fatigue? I would say get a good nights sleep or take a nap.

Get more sleep. That's about all you can do. But relax, it will go away on its own. Generally these things last no more than a week, and then they mysteriously disappear. I once had a twitching cheek for 3 months, and it finally went away. So, don't worry....it's just a temporary annoyance like hiccups.

I have had some success recommending calcium-magnesium pills which help restore proper muscle function. Also, eat more fruit to increase your potassium intake. Good luck!
