If someone steals your blockbuster card and uses it - is this identity theft?

But they don't steal your credit or use your credit card to rent the movies - they just "steal" your membership and rent from the store.

Anyone pretending to be you w/o your permission has committed ID theft. I doubt they could get prosecuted, but YOUR credit card will be charged if they fail to return a movie. Put a stop to this crap immediately.
