Paul warns in II Corinthians 11:4 against "another Jesus, whom we have not preached..."
The Mormons (like the Moslems) proclaim another Jesus - not the Jesus of the Bible.

A religion started by a guy called Joe Smith. That's a really good start. This Joe says he found these gold plates with inscriptions on them, supposedly translated them into a version of English 200 years out of date, but which happens to be the same version as the King James Bible, and then gives them to a guy called Moroney who says he's an angel. . . . and people believed this stuff???

The Latter-day Saints I've meet are either nice or extremely nice people. They are always willing to help people. They will visit you (on your request) if you are ill/bed ridden/in the hospital, etc. I like their morals.
I know they are wrongly accused for things that may not be refered to them. They are also mistaken to be the RLDS (the ones who do believe in poligamy, etc.).

I have mixed feelings about them. Their beliefs sound like science fiction to me, and their attitudes about women and sex are straight out of the Victorian era.
However, as much as I deplore those things, I have to admit that all the Mormons I've ever met were very nice people.

Ex-mormon, there theology consists of paganism, freemasondry and jewish or christian beliefs. They are prejudist and sexist, they believe in poligamy, but do not practise it at this time, They have there own Bible and other sacred text. They are basically a cult. www.saintsalive.com for more info.

Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD(LAW),
to what end is it(the day of the LORD) for you,
the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light: Amos 5:18.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

The mormon theology does not fall in line with historical orthodox Christian theology. They have good values. I'm not fond of their theology though :)
