When I go to her house to pick her up what should I do?
1. Call her on the cell phone and tell her I'm there?
2. Ring the door bell?
I'm confused ...
Note: She still lives with her parents but we're in college (in case that changes any answers)

Ring the doorbell. Introduce yourself to her parents. Maybe you could tell them a little about yourself ("I'm majoring in political science"). Be friendly to them, and relax! It will be easier the next time!! She and her parents will appreciate the courtesy and respect you show them.

I'm a college student as well... And I always prefer if a guy is willing to go thru the extra effort to come to the door. Yeah it might be a bit intimidating because she lives with her parents, but she'll probably appreciate it more than if you called from the driveway.

Always ring the bell and pick her up at the door. Dad's really like that. They don't like a guy who hides in the car. (I'm an oldest daughter)

Call her about 10 minutes before you get there. Then go to the door to pick her up. Smile, say hello to her and anyone else you see...she'll introduce you to the family when she's ready.

I prefer to be called on my cell and told instead ringing the door bell. She may be oldfashioned and want her parents to meet you. Ring the door bell if you want to win her and her parents over.

1 you couldn't put up the effort to go up to her door to get her

your in college and it's your first date? that's kinda weird....anyways....you should buy some flowers for her and ring the door bell and hide them behind your back then when she comes to the door syay are you ready then she'll probably say yea let me get my purse then she'll say ok by mom by dad then open the door for her in the car then for the whole night just be a jentlemen!!! well GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Be on time. Knock on the door. Introduce yourself to her parents...look the father in the eye and shake his hand. Make sure you tell the girl in front of her parents how nice she looks.
