I don't know how it is done, but find a female Marine. The ones with long hair are taught how to do it with a sock in boot camp. It looks REALLY neat And you can't see the elastics. You can also try putting in into a pony-tail, braiding it then twisting it. It's not as neat as the 1st suggestion but it'll get you by and if you use bobby pins it won't fall as quickly.

Twist the hair around into a bun and secure with combs, or bobby pins. You could also try looking for a SNOOD. They are sold in any dance shop or online. It is like a bag to hold your hair in. Only about 2 in. long. Many dancers use them.

Okay, brush your hair back and then put it in a low ponytail, but dont use eleastics, only your hand to hold it. Twist your hair and then hold it horizontilly while it is twisted. Then twist your hair.

It's hard to explain. Play around with it. AND USE ALOT OF ELASTICS.

put your hair into a high pony. grab it and start twirling the rest of your hair around the ponytail, bobbypining it every so often. When all your hair is up, hairspray it, and take care of any extra strands.
