God is able, He is able to give us joy in the middle of the night when things aren't going are way. He's able to help us when we are down. He said He would help us. Now how many believe He will? At first when we try to witness it may seem like no one is listening but God usually has at leats one person out there that He is dealing with and is speaking to them when you feel no one is listening.

These are the last days! We need to stand for God and not let anyone tell us we're wrong. We shall never back down!

"If God is for us then who can be against us?"

He has saved me a brought me from a lot. And it's the least that I can do when I give my life to serve Him. Who's with me? Who will stand in the face of the opressors and say

"We will not back down!"

He has been so good and this is the least we can do.....

Count me out. The only thing that I want to see Christ come down and do fast is get his followers off of this planet. It could be such a nice place to live, if it weren't for them.
I am not asking you to back down, just back off. And I mean that to all Christians, back off or I will have to start mailing your body parts back to you.
In addition, what is it with Christians and every generation wishing that the end of the world will come. If you want your last days that badly, then go drive your car off of a cliff or jump off of a building. And if you are worried about the suicide thing, it is not the jump off the building that kills you, it is the impact on the cement. So really that is God's fault, not yours, you only jumped.
Were you always the poster child for birth control? If there is a God, what has he ever done? And why create the world and make us go through all of this throughout the generations to come back and destroy it all? Does that even make any sense? I know, it is God's will, or God's plan, or God's fairy dust, or whatever term you want to use to cover up that you can not answer those simple questions.

First, you are NOT being "oppressed".

Please look that word up in the dictionary. Christians are THE dominant religious group in the USA, and America is the MOST religious country among modern democracies, with polls showing up to 90% of your population reporting a belief in god. We atheists are greatly outnumbered. You have a president, Executive branch, Supreme Court , Senate and Congress with an overwhelmingly Christian bent. You have the freedom to practise your religious beliefs how you see fit, without fear of interference. You are the only country in the world that puts an affirmation of belief in a deity on it's currency, and in your loyalty oath. There is a tax exempt church on every corner, the radio and TV full of religious broadcasts, there is a National Day of Prayer, but not a National Day of Thinking Rationally.....and you think YOU are oppressed??

Give me a break.
A very large and personal break.

Second, those of us who don't share your beliefs don't want you witnessing to us, or standing in our faces to tell us about your god. We aren't interested. Don't you get it? We don't want to know anything about your fictional deity, or anyone else's fictional deity.

I already know everything there is to know about bible god. I would be willing to bet I have read more of the bible than you EVER have, I just didn't skip over the awkward uncomfortable parts like Christians do....the violent, misogynistic, jealous, contradictory, vengeful, petty fiction you find worthy of worship is offensive to me, and while your delusional beliefs are protected under law, I cannot take anybody seriously who believes such ludicrous absurd nonsense as is documented in the Wholly Babble.

The least YOU can do, is keep it to yourself, talk among yourselves and leave the rest of us the phuck alone. Religion is a disease, and Christianity and Islam are the most repulsive and virulent forms.

Yes, the Lord is worthy of praise. He is my Redeemer, my Deliverer. He is all inclusive to those who call upon Him. If you seek Him, you will find Him.

Across the board, Christians in general realize these are the end times. All of those who wish Christianity and all religion to go away may get their wish when the antichrist comes on the scene. He will appeal to their vain imaginations. He will do away with all forms of worship, save one. All will have to worship the antichrist or be made to suffer. Yet, the adversary's new world order will only last for seven hellish years. Woe unto those who are on the earth during the Great Tribulation.
Today is the day of salvation! He is only a prayer away.

If you think of God as yourself, then all God has to do is get out of his bed, quit feeling sorry for itself, and make a difference in the world. Get over the fear, and only death will stop your happiness. Death is the peace like before you were born.....Wasn't it great? Is my confidence in this too inviting? johnwoolite at yahoo dot see eh.

No, I'm not. I don't believe that the end of the world is coming any time soon, and I don't really trust the Biblical god.

I am with you! God has done so much for me and my family, without HIM I would have gone crazy with all the things I have been through in the past year. I will always stand up for GOD, and the truth, no matter what anyone says or thinks about me.

Amen, God will see us through all our troubles. We must be willing to suffer some little of the trials and tribulations of our sweet Jesus and keep forging ahead in the face of all adversity. Praise God.

Well that's a dumb question. You're either going to get
(a) supportive comments from Christians
(b) negative/sarcastic comments from everyone else.
(c) people like me telling you how this question excludes those not of your belief system.
