Each of the three bureaus give you a method of disputing items on your credit report online. However, there is a difference between "disputing an item" on your credit report, and "cleaning" your credit report.

The bureaus are bound to correct errors on your credit report if you notify them, and provide documentation of the error.

They are not bound to, and will not, simply remove items from your report because you request it. If you have accurately reported delinquencies, charge offs, bankruptcies, etc...those are going to be there.

Dispute forms aren't really necessary. Just write the agencies and let them no that you found an error in your credit report. I think they have 30 days to contact the creditor.

You can dispute online for free at each of the bureaus' site.
