Here are a few:
1:Utorrent. It's my fav. Lightweight so it uses very little system resources, very stable and easy to use..
2:BitTornado. Stable and easy to use.
3:Shareaza. This client can handle Torrents and also connects to the Gnutell, Gnutella2 (limewire and bearshare for examples)and EDonkey networks(E-Donkey and E-Mule)
All of these and a lot more are available on the net. Just don't pay for them! BItComet is a nice client but it is now unsupported. It's creators abandoned it. There are a growing number of servers that are banning it because it has a few bugs and won't support some of the newer protocols. Some scammers picked up BitComet, added spyware and adware, and then renamed it BItLord. They even charge for a 'Pro' edition. Gotta love it.....NOT!
While you're at it , check out dessent.net for a great bitorrent FAQ.
As an extra, get PeerGuardian2. It helps keep such low-lifes as the RIAA of your tail.
Good luck, happing BTing and I hope this helps.

Azureus is the best. The newer versions lets you select peices of a torrent that you want to download, whereas in the past if you wanted one song out of a 2 gig torrent, you had to download the entire 2 gigs.

A good BitTorrent client is the one recently acquired by BitTorrent, which is uTorrent. http://www.utorrent.com/
uTorrent is lightweight, meaning, only eats a small portion of your computer's memory (about 16 MB max), therefore giving room to the programs that you still want to open such as Web browsers or Spreadsheets.
uTorrent is easy to use yet has sophisticated user interface (UI)
uTorrent religiously complies with tracker rules and the BitTorrent protocol.
uTorrent has all the features you look for in a BT client...plus lots more.
