What if the armies of the Lord, picked up and dusted off their swords? Vowed to set the captive free, and not let Satan have one more. What if the church for heaven's sake, finally stepped up to the plate? Took a stand a stand for God's promise and stormed hell's rusty gates. What would happen if we prayed for those raised up to lead the way. Then maybe kids in school could pray, and unborn children see light of day. What if the light that we pursue came from a hunger for the truth, what if the family turned to Jesus, stopped asking Oprah what to do?
Do you think we would be living in a better place?

And my answer to that Jim D is:
Are u ready to die? Because I am, and if that is what it takes, then I'll be there in a minute.

I am not talking about a physical war. It is a spiritual war that is going on in the lives of everyone. And hey someone finally got it. These are lyrics. But they are still true, and I was hoping that this would speak to someone.
Okay, I'll lead the way. But my question is will you follow God. Not me, i don't wish to be given praise or to be worshiped. All the credit goes to God, and if not then you are following for the wrong reasons.
With God all things are possible.

Read the book of Joel. We will, as the armies of Christ, come down back to earth after the Rapture and do just that! But only after those tribulation days before the great wrath of God.
You have spoken wisely though, and have described the realm of the millennial reign of Christ, where ALL families get along. The child leads the lion and sheep together. There is no more sickness and suffering or even pain!
Yes we would be living in a much better world, but it will take the divine intervention of Christ Himself to bring what you ask to earth! Human nature is just that, . . . human and sinful and weak!
Rather when you pray, say, also: 'Lord Thy kingdom come, thy will be done 'on earth' as it is in Heaven.' Or in your millennial kingdom Lord Jesus, let it be on earth now, . . .

You know, reading these answers that have already been posted really boggles my mind. I think some people just answer questions to get 2 points. It's ridicules!
If that happened I think it would be the greatest possible thing. The Church DOES need to "step up to the plate" and stop worrying about being politically correct! And, oh, we're worried about offending people, how on earth would we get our funding, wouldn't we scare away new members?????? Maybe, but if they are believers, and truly have a thirst for knowledge-they'll hear you! "GOD IS GREAT! BELIEVE!!! LOOK AT WHAT HE CAN DO IF U FOLLOW HIM......."
I am truly scared for most of mankind...

For all of you who are confused, All of that except for "Do you think we would be living in a better place" are lyrics to a song by Casting Crowns called "What if His People Prayed".
To answer the question, yes. I think it would be a much better world if more Christians took a stand for what they believed in and quit worrying of what others would think about them. Of course, we do that because of the presence of sin.. Satan wants us to be afraid to speak God's word and follow through with it.. And all too many of us just sit back and let him get away with it..

When Jesus told the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man when he was in hell asked if he could come back and tell his brothers. He was forbidden to come back that his brothers had the prophets to listen to and didn't listen to them. Just keep believing and living for Christ. Brace yourself good it will probably get worse before it gets better these people will not listen to anyone. When Christ gets back he will make this a great place

Amen brother. One warrior at a time, we'll get there. The weak are getting weaker and the strong in Christ are getting stronger. The wheat is being separated from the chaff. If God be for us, who be against us?

The world will be better but it won't happen. The world is preparing for the visitation of the antichrist.
Some are Christians are too busy being satisfied with their lifestyle to help change others.
Kneeling is the best way to fight for the world.

I am a Christian, if you are then you know that Satan doesn't control who goes to hell. God doesn't either. Each individual makes that decision when they decide to accept or reject Christ. God does not force anyone to be His child. God does not force anyone to forsake sin. We can take responsibility for our own behavior, our own child-rearing, etc... But we cannot control other people. We can just pray for them to see the Light.

Anybody who raises an army in the name of a god is a fraud. If god was so powerful, then he would not need any army to do his dirty work, andlets face it, he is a mass murderer. he has smote and ethnically clensed his way through the old testament.
He plays silly games to test faith and used chemical warfare, biological warefare and good old fashioned napom...
Not much of a role model for love and peace is it?
If we stopped believing in myths, nd faced up to yhr reality of our situations, then the world may be a bit better place.
